Why Start a Guild?

New guilds represent the future of our organization and assure a continued legacy of giving for children. By contributing your time, you are embarking on an amazing journey — one filled with inspiring stories about families lifted up by acts of generosity.

The impact of your efforts will positively transform the lives of children.

Here are a few reasons why starting a guild can make a difference:

  • Children's is committed to helping families. All children in our region are cared for, regardless of their families' ability to pay. Your participation is essential to our continued success.
  • Children's Hospital's goal is to prevent, treat and eliminate pediatric disease. In our lifetime some diseases will disappear; together we can make the seemingly impossible a reality.
  • Joining the Guild Association is an opportunity to become connected to a community of compassionate volunteers.

When Max was diagnosed with a brain tumor, we were devastated. Thanks to Children's Hospital and the current research by the amazing doctors there, he is alive and well. We started our guild so that we can help more kids like Max be survivors.

Children's Hospital saved our son's life. We started the Hydrocephalus Research Guild as a way to give back to the community and to raise awareness and funds for research for hydrocephalus, a neurological disease with no cure that our son and a million others in the United States suffer from.
